Simon is an experienced business owner, director and manager. His career began in FMCG sales, then moved from the corporate sector to set up a wholesale food production business in the early 1990s. The business was successfully scaled and sold in 2007. In a consulting capacity he has been engaged by large listed NZ companies in property, retail and
distribution. He has been a director of several businesses and is on the Board of Trustees for business incubator The Icehouse. Simon was appointed CEO of Madison in 2011 and became group Chief Executive following Mike Huddleston’s retirement in July 2015.
