Silas has been working at Softrader since 2008. Over the years he has worked on the development of Softrader 7, and also led the development of various bespoke software projects. Currently he is leading the design and development of Softrader Cloud. He became Technical Director in 2012.
Before Softrader, Silas worked for several years as a
sales engineer specialising in valves. This was an excellent grounding in the main industry within which Softrader works, and enables him to have a comprehensive understanding of our customers’ requirements.
Silas has a degree in English and another in Philosophy; a surprisingly excellent preparation for life as a software developer.
