Shuo Bai holds positions as: Supervisor for PhD students at the Institute of Information Engineering in Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chairman of the Technology Committee at ChinaLedger, Executive Director of Chinese Information Processing Society of China, and former Vice President and Chief Engineer of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. From 2002 - 2016
he served as the General Manager of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, where he was in charge of: the management of information technology infrastructure, IT system development, and strategic planning for longterm information technology infrastructure. From 2012-2016, he also served as the part-time chairman of Shanghai Securities Communication Company, and was leading the company's business transformation and base planning. Meanwhile, he was an key participant during the promoting period for information technology, information technology standardization, and information security work in China's capital market. During 2000-2002 he was responsible for the planning and management of R & D projects that related to network security in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, where he was in the leadership for the Coordination Center of China.
