Chris Shuning Chen is the non-executive Chairman of Pactera, a global IT consultancy company based in Beijing.
Having cofounded the company in 1995, Chen served as the chairman and the Chief Executive Officer at Pactera which later merged with HiSoft Technology in 2012. Prior to VanceInfo, He was also involved in the development of the IBM
OS/2 operating system from 1994 to 1995.
Chen also worked as a senior software developer at Great Wall Computer Software & System from 1989 to 1995, and spent two years on an assignment in the United States.
Chen received his master’s degree in engineering from Huazhong University of Science & Technology in 1989 and his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tsinghua University in 1986.
