Dr Cheng is a molecular and cellular biologist who has extensive industrial and academic research experiences in molecular diagnostics, immunodiagnostics, genomics, virology, and cancer research. She was the founder and Chief Scientific Officer of NeoDiagnostic Labs, Inc. (2005 – 2009) which developed the core technologies in HPV E6E7 biomarkers
and filed 20 patents in US and worldwide. From NeoDiagnostic Labs, Inc., OncoHealth has licensed exclusive worldwide rights to the technology. Previously, Dr Cheng held leading research positions within the Division of Diagnostics at ThermoFisher and at DiscoveRx. She received her B.S. from National Chung-Hsing University, PhD in Plant Pathology from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC) and her post-doctoral training in Pathology at UIUC and Hematology at Stanford University.
