Shir is the CTO of DeepChecks, a VC backed startup. DeepChecks’ product helps companies to identify and alert potential problems and failures in AI systems. Prior to that, Shir worked as a senior data science researcher at the prime minister’s office, where she led projects that used Machine Learning tools for aiding in complex intelligence
missions and assisting human-critical tasks. In addition, she has extensive technological experience as a cyber researcher and later on as a project manager in the intelligence community. Shir has a B.Sc. in Physics from the Hebrew University, which she obtained as part of the Talpiot excellence program, and is currently finishing her M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University
