Sheng Liu co-founded InnoLight Technology in 2008. Prior to that, he worked for many years in a number of companies in the optical transceiver industry including Agere Systems (formerly Lucent), Pine Photonics Communications and Opnext.
Sheng Liu has been active in the Chinese American high tech communities. He is currently president of Suzhou
Industrial Park Optical Communication Industry Alliance, and a member of the Tsinghua Entrepreneur & Executive Club (TEEC). He was also awarded National Thousand Talents Program.
Sheng Liu received his Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology, M.S. from Chinese Science Academy, and B.S. from Tsinghua University, Beijing.
