Josh Sheng Chen is the Founder and Executive Chairman of 21Vianet Group, a large carrier-neutral internet data center services provider in China.
Having founded the company in 1999, Chen currently oversees the strategic direction and corporate development of 21Vianet Group.
Prior to the 21Vianet Group, Chen founded a series of IT companies
such as A-1 Netcom Inc. in 1991; and Taixing Data Engineering Company in 1989.
With over 20 years of experience in the internet infrastructure industry, Chen is also a member of the Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club, and a managing director of the Internet Society of China.
Chen received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University in 1991. Wanchun Hou is the co-founder of Trunkbow, a mobile application provider for telecom operators in China.
Having co-founded Trunkbow in 2001, Hou currently holds the patents for over 120 telecom applications.
Prior to Trunkbow, Hou served as a visiting scholar at Beijing Telecommunications University; a guest research fellow at Bell Labs in the US; and a research fellow at Shandong University, China.
Hou received his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and a doctorate in mathematics from Shandong University.
