Shea Sinnott served as the Operations Manager of OpenMedia from 2011-2013 and joined the board after moving on as a staff member in late 2013. In her work at OpenMedia over two and a half years, Shea worked to build the organization’s grassroots fundraising program and support the organization’s development internally. See this video from

Currently, Shea is the Project Coordinator of Organize BC, a project of genius, that works to empower people to build more resilient communities. At Organize BC, Shea brings together aligned organizations to train emerging organizers in BC and supports a growing network of engagement organizers across the province.
Shea is also a graduate of the Next Up leadership program, and through her support for the Next Up network and past volunteerism with many Vancouver non-profits and community groups, she pursues her passion for sustainable community development. Shea is proud and grateful for the opportunity to support OpenMedia in her new capacity as a board member.
