Sharon Pipe is the managing director at TH Lee Putnam Ventures. Sharon manages TH Lee Putnam Ventures' international transactions, including existing portfolio companies Avero, Callserve Communications, Connectmed, Currenex, Digital Rum, Internet Group do Brazil, Officenet and Submarino.
Before joining TH Lee Putnam, Sharon was the Managing
Director-International for GE Equity. There she built GE Equity's private equity business throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia, making investments in 25 countries through a network of 43 professionals in 10 offices. Under her leadership, the international team built a portfolio of approximately $325 million in direct investments, limited partnership interests of $360 million and committed co-investment pools of $600 million. She also served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital Partners European Equity Fund. Prior to that, she worked with Lazard Brothers & Co., Ltd. and Bank of America.
Sharon received an M.B.A. from Manchester Business School and a First Class Honors degree in Business Studies from Westminster University.
