Mr. Shanke Hsu, Allen, is a General Partner of PAC-LINK Management Corp. and Pac-Link BioVenture Fund 1, L.P. and serves as its Chairman. Mr. Hsu focuses on automotive, semiconductors and electronics, and communications and optical electronics investments. Mr. Hsu has helped expand PAC-Link to nine funds with total fund size around $400 million at
the end of 2006. He serves as Deputy Managing Director at the Yulon Group since 1989, where he is responsible for strategic planning and new investments in the telecom, semiconductors, and internet market sectors. He also serves as the Chairman of many listed companies such as Taiwan Acceptance Corporation, Altek, Taiwan Mask, Century-Myson, and PMT. Mr. Hsu has 29 years of experience in auto, information technology, and finance. Previously, he was in charge of the corporate finance and underwriting group at BTYF Integrated Securities during 1988. Prior to 1988, Mr. Hsu had been the Corporate Banking Head of the Banker Trust Taipei. Mr. Hsu serves as Chairman of the Board at Altek Corp. He serves as a Director at Lite-On Semiconductor Corp. He served as a Director of Phalanx Biotech Group, Inc. He serves as Independent Director of Xinhua Sports & Entertainment Limited. He serves as Chairman of Anachip Corporation and served as Director of Oplink Communications, Inc. He has been involved in several IPO deals and issuing of convertible bonds, convertible preferred stocks, and other financial products. Mr. Hsu is a recipient of the “Excellent Financial Executive of the year“ award from the Association of Management Science, R.O.C. He is a Certified Securities Analyst at the Taiwan SEC. Mr. Hsu attended the Advanced Management Program in the Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds an M.B.A. degree from the National Cheng Chi University and a B.S. degree in Management Science from The National Chiao Tung University.
