Snipes is full-time faculty at BMCC, teaching and researching in the areas of entrepreneurship education (EE) and mindfulness. He completed a BA from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Vytautas Magnus University. Snipes is the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship for research in post-soviet Lithuania. As a Ph.D. scholar, he recently
received the 2018 CUNY-PSC Grant and 2019 CUNY I-Corps Research Grant for his work in mindfulness in conjunction with EE. Snipes founded the NYC chapter of 1 Million Cups, a Kauffman Foundation supported event. Last year, he designed and coordinated the Fordham social entrepreneurship MBA practicum semester. Snipes’ academic background combines with 28 years of technology, startup, HR, and social entrepreneurship experience. He has successfully launched 15 innovation labs for Fortune 500 companies.
