Prior to joining Skyscanner Shane was previously Director of Performance for Barclays. He qualified as an accountant with PWC in London as part of the Financial Services Advisory team with a focus on Private Equity investments. Shane has also run his own successful online retail business which raised £250k seed equity and he has also mentored
online businesses for a number of years through Scottish Enterprise and PSYBT.
In his spare time, Shane enjoys spending time with his family or doing pretty much anything sport related. He continues to mentor online start-up businesses and has a ‘spiti’ in Crete that he tries to visit at least twice a year.
