Shailesh Ghorpade is the Managing Partner and CIO of Reservoir Investment Managers. Shailesh is also the CEO and MD of Azure Capital. He has over 23 years of experience in Project & Corporate Finance, M&A, Strategy, and Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) investments across companies in Financial Services, Energy, IT and Real Estate sectors.
He has held senior positions in companies like Birla Global Finance, Tata Finance, Infosys Technologies and Price Waterhouse Coopers. Prior to Azure Capital, Shailesh was the Chief Strategy & Planning Officer at Suzlon. Before Suzlon, he worked for Infosys Technologies as AVP, working with the leadership on long term strategy and key transformation initiatives. He has done management consulting for several Fortune 500 companies in Europe and the USA and has led large transformation programs. Shailesh completed his MBA from JBIMS and B.Sc. (Tech) from UDCT, Mumbai.
