Serge Gusev is the co-founder and CEO of Approveit, an award-winning B2B SaaS platform that enhances business process management. Inspired by his father’s pioneering work in fintech, Serge, a second-generation entrepreneur, has developed a uniquely open-minded and flexible approach to innovation and leadership.
Serge’s entrepreneurial journey
began in his university years when he launched a chatbot development business. He later founded a mastermind school and a community for young entrepreneurs, all driven by his goal of building a unicorn company. During this time, he connected with notable figures in the tech world, including drawing inspiration from Uber CEO Travis Kalanick. Serge also founded an AI-powered tool for optimizing cinema schedules, further showcasing his innovative spirit.
Serge graduated with honors from the joint program at the University of London and the London School of Economics. During his studies, he won the P&G CEO Challenge Western Europe 2018 case championship. He also gained valuable experience in project management, sales and strategic marketing at EY and Reckitt, after which he switched his career to entrepreneurship. While collaborating with Dmitry Matveev on a project, they observed that approval processes frequently hinder business efficiency. This insight inspired them to develop Approveit, a solution for streamlining approval workflows to minimize time costs and financial losses.
