Scott VanHoy joined Leeds Equity in 2010. Mr. VanHoy has over 13 years of private equity and investment banking experience across a variety of sectors including business services, consumer finance, financial services, general industrial, healthcare, media and waste.
Prior to joining Leeds Equity, Mr. VanHoy spent four years with DLJ Merchant
Banking Partners where he worked as a Vice President. Prior to joining DLJMB, Mr. VanHoy spent three years as an Associate at Quad-C Management, a private equity firm focused on investing in middle market leveraged buyouts. He started his career as an investment banker in the leveraged finance group at Banc of America Securities LLC.
At Leeds Equity, Mr. VanHoy’s responsibilities include sourcing new investment opportunities, executing transactions and working closely alongside our portfolio company management teams. He serves as a board member of Covenant Review, EduK Group, Evanta Ventures and Nobel Learning Communities.
Mr. VanHoy graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in Economics and graduated with high honors from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship & Finance. He is a CFA charterholder.
