Scott Ross has spent over 17 years building deep expertise in Health Tech and SaaS platforms through dynamic leadership of engineering, data, product and tech ops organizations. As VP of engineering at Opala, he leads the engineering and tech ops organizations in seamlessly connecting providers and payers through their patients so that healthcare
can deliver on the vision of value based care.
Scott has always felt at home working with uncertainty and risk. He has found his joy in building teams around great causes and coaching up excitement, ownership and inclusion in the people that bring a mission from 0 to 1 within startups and enterprises. He’s also found himself leading cultural change from sales and engineering motivated teams to empowered, product-led teams that focus on outcomes through customer empathy and embracing discovery.
In addition to his experience, Scott holds several healthcare technology and telecom patents along with a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
