Dr. Robins was named to his current position in March 2011. He brings extensive medical and leadership experience to his role serving the North Texas division. His focus is to ensure HCA’s outstanding clinical care through the provision of exceptionally effective and compliant quality management programs, including patient and employee safety
initiatives.
Prior to joining HCA, Dr. Robins was the chief medical officer for Covenant Health System in Lubbock where he provided oversight for Case Management, Clinical Documentation, Infection Control, and Clinical Affairs. He developed a Clinical Integration model that included more than 250 employed and independent physicians dedicated to improving quality and efficiency.
Dr. Robins received his degree from Texas Tech and completed medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
