What inspires me is the hardworking, diversified staff here at Giffels Webster who make coming to work each day feel like a second home rather than a job. My role as associate includes overseeing design and construction, business development, maintaining client
relationships, mentoring staff, and preparing proposals and public presentations. I became a civil engineer because of the wide variety of work, and the fact that once a project is completed it creates an impact for years to come. To date, my biggest accomplishment at Giffels Webster has been the design and construction of the City of Ferndale’s $45M infrastructure rehabilitation project. Within seven years, we rehabilitated the city’s water and sewer system and resurfaced or reconstructed every road.
