When I’m not cycling the hills, I can be found in The Lab blending learning solutions that focus the mind and engage the imagination. I also like the colour purple – a lot! I
believe in the principle of possibility and reckon Einstein was spot on when he said, “Creativity is simply intelligence having fun”. I’ve been running the Lab for over 13 years. People might refer to me as the Founder, Owner or Consultant; I prefer to describe what I do and how I may help. Creater, curator, baker, randomator.
Away from The Lab, I like to downhill bike on trails, with a hefty slice of fair weather road rides. I run, although I get bored after 7k. I love to cook and bake, have been known to bring my kitchen efforts to my events for learners to feast on. I believe the craft of baking, or anything crafted for that matter, is so intertwined in personal growth. I can bake bread, but I’ll never master it. Every new sourdough is a journey through lifelong learning.
I love nothing more than watching my wee clan of three grow and blossom to discover the new adventures the world can bring every day. I have been dancing to Primal Scream with the same fab lady for 30 years…..oh, and I’m Scott.
