Scott Becker is the Senior Vice President of Customer Success at S5 Stratos. Scott Becker brings over 25 years of Supply Chain experience across strategy, planning, visibility, and execution, through the delivery of supply chain programs across multiple industries and continents. Mr. Becker’s experience in supply chain management has had an
emphasis on solution selling, innovation, change management and transformation.
Before joining IBM Scott was an accomplished executive with significant experience managing the implementation of best practice business processes in conjunction with business management software, focused on increasing value, reducing risk and maximizing velocity of delivery.
Scott has led the deployment of supply chain planning and execution programs in both retail and manufacturing to improve overall efficiency and visibility. In recent years Scott has held roles with an emphasis on transportation. Throughout his career he has worked with companies such as Best Buy, Columbia Sportswear, Canadian Tire, QVC, Buy Seasons, Proctor & Gamble, PepsiCo, Moen, UCT, Penske, Ryder and others.
Prior to his recent experience, Scott began his career as a consultant in network computing. His career took him through both consulting and sales roles that included the process industries of oil and gas and power generation. His career then evolved through plant floor automation into supply chain planning and execution where he spent over 15 years at JDA and served as a Vice President in both consulting and sales. His tenure at JDA included running strategic accounts, managing professional services for Western North America, and then managing JDA’s transportation and retail hardlines professional services practices. Most importantly, Scott’s time at JDA was focused on working with clients in all of these areas to maximize business value.
He graduated from the University of Colorado, B.S in Electrical Engineering in 1989.
