Sarah Borg Barthet was born on 23 May 1988 in Norwich, United Kingdom. She is a British-Maltese entrepreneur, journalist, editor and writer. She is the founder of Dukes Avenue, a popular online resource and lifestyle brand curated to inspire luxury living in young, successful women, whether that's through traveling the globe, fashion, or the
latest beauty must-haves.
Before founding Dukes Avenue, Sarah spent ten years working in finance in both Malta and London.
Sarah has lived in both London and Malta and currently resides in the United Arab Emirates. She uses her travels and experiences to inspire much of the content. Sarah Borg Barthet was born on 23 May 1988 in Norwich, Norfolk, in the United Kingdom, to Mark Micallef and Rosalind nee Sell. Her family relocated to Malta when she was six months old.
She enrolled at the University of Malta in 2006, where she pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics, Banking, and Finance. In 2011, she relocated to London, where she continued her studies with a master of science degree in International Finance from the University of Westminster, graduating with Distinction. Sarah Borg Barthet is married to Simon Borg Barthet, and they have one daughter, Allegra. In her free time, Sarah is an avid fan of fitness, enjoying various sports, including pole fitness, running, weight-lifting, and yoga. In 2016, she ran the London Marathon, raising over £2,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation.
She also enjoys spending time with her two French bulldogs, Luna and Lejla.
