Sandy Rowland is executive vice president and chief financial officer of HARMAN, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.
Sandy is responsible for all aspects of the Finance function and serves as the principal contact to outside auditors, KPMG LLP. Sandy reports to President and Chief Executive Officer Dinesh Paliwal and is a
member of the executive committee.
With more than 20 years of experience in financial management, Sandy joined HARMAN in October 2012 to lead investor relations. In 2013, she added corporate development to her responsibilities, which included strategy and mergers and acquisitions. On January 1, 2015, she became CFO.
Prior to joining HARMAN, Sandy was a vice president in the Corporate Finance group at Eastman Kodak Co. (NYSE:KODK). Also at Kodak, Sandy held assignments of increasing responsibility including controller of the consumer segment, director of corporate financial planning and analysis, assistant treasurer, director of investor relations and chief financial officer of the commercial segment. Sandy was also a manager in the Audit and Business Advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she worked primarily with technology companies.
Sandy received a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business from Lafayette College. She also holds an MBA from the University of Rochester’s William E. Simon School of Business.
