Sandy Grippo, Bessemer’s chief financial officer, is a partner in the New York office. She joined the firm in 2002 and is responsible for the firm’s financial management, operations and reporting.
Sandy has over a decade of experience in both accounting and operations for private investment firms. Prior to joining Bessemer Sandy was a vice
president at JP Morgan Partners, where she focused on partnership accounting, partnership taxes and fund operations. At JP Morgan Partners, Sandy was responsible for the accounting for the $5.4 billion JP Morgan Partners Global Investors fund. Sandy began her career at Ernst and Young where she was an audit manager specializing in hedge-fund and private-equity clients.
Sandy holds a B.S. in accounting from Lehigh University and earned her CPA.
