Sanalkumar Parameswaran is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of SukamoAI, where he leads the engineering of the company's proprietary legacy modernization engine.[1] With over 30 years of IT experience, Sanalkumar is a distinguished technologist with deep expertise in Compiler Design, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Architecture.
Prior to co-founding SukamoAI, Sanalkumar served as a Senior Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, where he led high-impact cloud infrastructure and digital transformation projects for Fortune 500 enterprises. His background also includes tenure at Oracle, further solidifying his command of complex enterprise data systems. At SukamoAI, he acts as the primary technical visionary. He architected the company’s hybrid engine, which combines Abstract Syntax Trees (AST) with GraphRAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to analyze and refactor legacy COBOL code with mathematical precision. His work focuses on solving the "hallucination problem" in generative AI, enabling deterministic, offline-capable modernization for highly regulated industries like banking and healthcare. Sanalkumar holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and is a frequent speaker on cloud transformation and AI-driven software engineering.
