Samuel Hsiao was a business development manager (APAC) and oversaw strategic partnerships for Janio Asia. Prior to the role, he was a senior strategy manager at Momentum Works, a venture builder based in Singapore and Indonesia. He holds a bachelor's degree in diplomacy, and a master's in international affairs from Tsinghua University.
His work includes commercial and public affairs within and across Southeast Asia, Greater China, North East Asia, and the Emerging Markets, and his past work experience includes DBS Bank and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Beijing. Samuel was selected globally as a Schwarzman Scholar in the year 2016.
