Sam Hill joined Quest Aircraft in November 2012 as Chief Executive Officer. He brings more than 40 years of aviation experience and business expertise to the position.
Hill spent 10 years with Embraer Aircraft Corporation in several key leadership positions, including President and Vice Chairman. He was responsible for starting Embraer’s
Corporate Aircraft Division and launching the Legacy 600, the company’s first executive jet. Following his tenure at Embraer, Hill worked with a leading aviation consulting firm as the Managing Director, Business Development. He then joined Honda Aircraft Company as Senior Vice President, a position from which he retired in early 2012.
Prior to Embraer, Hill worked with the Brooke Group where he was responsible for evaluating and developing strategies for aviation industry investments, including launching a helicopter subsidiary. He also served as General Manager of Aircraft and Flight Services for Piedmont Aviation. Hill began his aviation career as Chief Pilot with Continental Grain Company, and also spent time as Director of Flight Operations for AVX Corporation.
Hill holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management. He is an active pilot and holds a multi-engine ATP license and is type-rated in a number of aircraft.
