Samson Donick started his basketball career at Redwood High School in Larkspur, CA. As a sophomore point guard, he led the team in points, rebounds, and steals. He was an MCAL All-League player and Cal-Hi Sports all-state nominee his senior year. Named to the all-tournament teams at the Rose City Classic and Russ Peterich Viking Tip-Off classic
tournaments, Donick was also Team Captain and Most Valuable Player as a senior.
Donick then went on to play for Sonoma State University Seawolves Men’s Basketball team. A transfer student from Redwood High School, Donick sat out the 2013 season due to NCAA transfer rules but played during the 2014 and 2015 seasons. He averaged 5 points per game during his two years playing for Sonoma State University.
