Sam has over 20 years of international business and engineering experience in the software and IT industries.
Prior to founding Atieva, Sam was co-founder and VP of Sales and Marketing at Astoria Networks and Vice President of Sales Alliances at Redback Networks. Managing Asia Pacific operations, Sam established sales alliances and joint
ventures with conglomerates, such as Nokia, ZTE, NED, NTT, Chung-Hwa Telecom, and Korea Telecom.
Sam was also the General Manager and Senior Director of Product Marketing at Oracle, where he was responsible for the product development, marketing, and business development of multiple flagship products.
Sam received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in EE/CS from University of California at Berkeley. Sam is fluent in Japanese, Chinese, and English.
