Mr. Edwards has over 29 years experience working in the Oilfield Services Industry in a variety of operational, technical, sales, and functional roles, both domestically and internationally. Most recently, Sam was Vice President of Strategic Account Management for the US Land Region at Baker Hughes Inc. (BHI). Previously, Sam was the Vice
President of Operations for the US Land Wireline Services product line. During his 10 year assignment at Baker Hughes, Sam also worked for the Drilling Services division (formerly INTEQ) in the Gulf of Mexico/Trinidad and EARC (Europe, Africa, Russia, and Caspian) Regions, served as Director of Human Resources for the Drilling & Evaluation Business Segment, and led a significant formation evaluation organizational transformation effort as Director of INTEQ GeoScience.
Mr. Edwards began his career as a field engineer with Schlumberger where he spent 19 years in various management roles in the US and Latin America, including operations, sales, information technology, and Quality, Health, Safety & Environment. During his tenure at Schlumberger he also worked for Schlumberger Geco-Prakla and Schlumberger SEMA.
Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette and a Masters of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
