Saed has over 20 years of experience in machine learning, predictive modeling, and big data analysis. At AdTheorent, he developed leading behavior-based machine learning programs used to individually target internet and mobile display advertisements.
Previously, he worked as a senior data mining consultant with various Fortune 500 companies,
including American Express, Macy’s, First American, Xerox, Rogers Communication, CIBC, and Royal Bank.
Saed is an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto where he teaches a graduate data mining course. He has published more than 10 papers on data mining and two books, “An Introduction to Data Mining” and “Real Time Data Mining.”
He did his post-doctoral research fellowship in artificial intelligence and advanced statistics at the University of Toronto and received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Bioinformatics from the University of Tehran.
