Sabrina Lamb is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wekeza, a U.S.-based fintech platform that democratizes access to investing in U.S. stocks and ETFs, along with multilingual f inancial education. Through strategic partnerships with schools, cities, and financial institutions, Wekeza delivers its award-winning World of Money curriculum to
learners from pre-K through college, helping to close the racial wealth gap across the African diaspora. Wekeza is honored to participate in the Techstars Tulsa accelerator. A global advocate for financial inclusion, Sabrina also founded World of Money, the leading provider of immersive youth financial education. More than 15,000 students, from early childhood through college, have graduated from the organization’s in-person and online programs. She also launched the Motley Fool award-winning World of Money mobile app and World of Money Online, now available in the United States and globally. Sabrina is the author of six best-selling books, including the NAACP Image Award-nominated Do I Look Like An ATM? A Parent’s Guide to Raising Financially Educated African-American Children and has written multiple national magazine cover stories. Her expertise in financial education and youth empowerment has earned her honors from Congressmembers Gregory Meeks and Josh Gottheimer, NBC News/The Grio 100, Essence Magazine’s “50 Women Who Made Us Proud”, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (Bergen/Passaic Chapter), Rainbow Push/Wall Street Project, and State Farm’s National Dream Achiever Award, among many others. As a sought-after speaker, Sabrina has presented at major conferences worldwide, including the Festival of the Diaspora, Money 20/20, Seamless Africa, Black Enterprise Women of Power, Haiti Tech Summit. Her media background includes serving as a correspondent for WBLS-FM at three Democratic National Conventions and presidential inaugurations, co-hosting programs on WWRL 1600 AM, and currently contributing to WRKS-FM’s “Open Line Online.” Earlier in her career, Sabrina was a professional actor and stand-up comedian, with appearances on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and Lifetime Television’s “Girls’ Night Out.” She is also a proud three-time finisher of the New York City Marathon.
