John C. Coggin, III is the General Counsel for Hexagon Lavish®. John has many years of extensive experience in corporate, finance, tax, securities, mergers and acquisitions, contract, intellectual property and litigation matters. John graduated Beta Gamma Sigma from the University of Alabama with a B.A degree in banking and a Master’s degree in
finance, along with a J.D. degree in law. While in law school John served on the Alabama Law Review and graduated with Honors-Order of the Coif. His vast experience has included being an attorney with one of the largest law firms in the southeast, as the principal partner of his own firm and as an adjunct professor of law (Financial Accounting and Tax) at Samford School of Law. He has recently worked in the Atlanta area as an attorney for one of the largest technology law companies in the world. John has written and been an editor for numerous major national book publishers, including Matthew Bender, Prentice Hall and the Bureau of National Affairs. He is the author of numerous published professional books and articles, as well as having been a speaker at numerous law seminars and events.
