Ryan is the executive vice president of filaments & ogistics at Essentium, helping develop and produce the next generation of essential materials. As a co-founder of Essentium Materials in 2013, Ryan has played a pivotal role in developing and launching new products, securing funding, conducting R&D, and procuring customers.
Ryan’s
background in thermoplastic composites and technology entrepreneurship has helped Essentium obtain numerous private and federal technology commercialization grants and launch its entire line of initial product offerings. He has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and patents pending.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University and a Technology Entrepreneurship certificate from the Baylor Hankamer School of Business. He is also currently a visiting scholar at Texas A&M University. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, reading C.S. Lewis & J. R. Tolkien, and the increasingly rare opportunities to go fishing and play golf.
