As Director of Research at Kudelski Security, Ryan Spanier is responsible for overseeing the organization’s portfolio of research on cybersecurity issues and is a key part of Kudelski Security’s IoT Security Center of Excellence. Working in close relationship with leading technology and academic communities in both the United States and Europe,
Ryan provides leadership to the exploration of cutting-edge ideas that have practical relevance to the security work of large enterprises and governments.
Prior to joining Kudelski Security, Ryan held several technology and leadership positions, most recently as the Branch Head, Threat Intelligence, at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Ryan gained both his master’s degree in Information Security and his bachelor degree in Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His areas of professional interests lie in malware analysis, network forensics, and security operations center design.
