Prior to Tide Rock, Ryan has been the senior Operator or Board Member of a number of companies, all of which have produced at least double digit growth year-over-year for 10 consecutive years. Ryan has managed data intelligence, SAAS, digital marketing, business services, and distribution businesses
ranging from Global 2000 companies to million dollar private companies. Most recently, Ryan was CEO and Chairman of Business.com (after acquiring it from DexOne). Under his leadership, Business.com Media Inc. was named to B2B Magazine’s Media Power Top 50 and would have placed #2 on Inc500 Fastest Growing Companies. (We did not disclose revenue publicly and therefore could not enter the contest) The company drives millions of business purchasers to the site each month, connects millions of buyers to >10,000 advertisers, and influences billions of dollars in business purchases. Prior to transitioning from CEO to Chairman of the Board in November 2012, the company was on pace to grow net revenue ~100% and won SDBJ 2012 Best Places to Work.
