Ryan Letcher is an RF and microwave engineering professional with over two decades of experience spanning military service, the aerospace industry, and entrepreneurship. During his time in the United States Navy, Ryan Letcher served as an F/A-18 avionics technician, specializing in radar and electronic warfare systems.
After military service,
Mr. Letcher studied at Luzerne County Community College in Pennsylvania, where he served as a mathematics and physics tutor. He completed his bachelor of science in electrical engineering at Pennsylvania State University in 2004.
Following graduation, Ryan Letcher joined the Department of Navy's Engineer and Scientist Development Program as an RF Engineer, focusing on radar cross section measurements and F/A-18 E/F electronic warfare systems. He then transitioned to Lockheed Martin as an RF systems engineer. Over the next two years, he became one of the most knowledgeable RF engineers at the Owego facility. His achievements included identifying antenna back lobe issues that caused radar tracking problems and eliminating a multi-year delivery backlog in just eight weeks.
In 2016, Mr. Letcher founded RCL Microwave, Inc., which he leads as president and CEO. His company specializes in dielectric measurements and antenna engineering, offering services encompassing 100 MHz to 300 GHz. Currently, he is finalizing the development of a groundbreaking 150 GHz Dielectric Spectroscopy system, representing the cutting edge of microwave measurement technology.
