Ryan Gumm was named president and chief executive officer of Endeavor Air in May 2013. He is experienced in flight operations, maintenance, safety programs, operations control centers, labor relations, financial management, regulatory compliance, training and scheduling. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
Ryan began his airline
career as a line pilot on the Beech 1900D for Mesa Air Group and transitioned into roles that included instructor pilot, line-check airman, FAA designated pilot examiner, chief pilot, and director of operations. In 2008, he became president and chief operating officer of Freedom Airlines. In September 2010, Ryan joined Comair as vice president of Operations before being named president in February 2012. Ryan also led the Delta Private Jet division as chief operating officer before being named chief executive officer of Endeavor Air when it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines.
