Prior to joining PerkinElmer, Rusty Irving served as the VP Global Sales at the CambridgeSoft Corporation, joining that organization in 2002 and building a sales organization that achieved $61MM in 2010.
Previously, he worked at Accelrys for 9 years holding the position of Vice President, Global Accounts when he left in 2002. During his tenure
at Accelrys, the company grew from $5MM to $96MM in sales.
Prior to Accelrys, Mr. Irving worked in Sales and Product Management with Varian Instruments and Fisons Instruments North America (acquired by Thermo Scientific) and as a Research Chemist at the Gillette Company, General Electric Global Research, and IBM.
Mr. Irving received an MS in Chemistry from Tufts University and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Boston College with a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy.
