Runar Reistrup is the CEO at Depop. Depop is a popular mobile app that combines simple buying and selling with the exploratory essence of social networking, making it a fun place for anyone to buy and sell.
Runar was formerly Global Head of Mobile Products and Sevices at Vodafone Global.
Formerly, he held the position of Product Director at ZYB, a mobile social network launched in 2006. ZYB was sold to Vodafone for Euro 31.5m in 2009. During ZYB's rise on the start-up sceene, Reistrup was a frequent figure in the press, evangalising about the product and commenting on the direction that mobile social networking industry was moving into.
Runar Reistrup holds a masters degree in Information Studies from the University of Aarhus, Denmark.
