Roy has a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has 24 years’ experience working across the mining, civil engineering, building, telecommunications and process sectors. His career has spanned roles in Australia, Vietnam, India and Indonesia.
Roy was
appointed President Director of PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia in 2007 and is responsible for Thiess Indonesia’s significant mining and construction business. In 2011 he was appointed Executive General Manager of Asia, assuming accountability for the growth of Thiess’ mining operations in the Asia region.
