Dr. Boorady is Senior Director of the Psychopharmacology Service at the Child Mind Institute. He previously served for eight years as the clinical director of the New York University (NYU) Child Study Center’s Psychopharmacology Service and as an assistant professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine. He has also been
an attending physician in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and has held several other hospital appointments in New York City, Washington, DC, and the greater Boston area. Earlier in his career, he held positions including staff psychiatrist at the Young Adult Institute in New York City, assistant professor of psychiatry at Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and instructor in psychiatry at the Harvard University School of Medicine. Dr. Boorady earned his MD from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine, trained as chief resident in general adult psychiatry at Massachusetts Mental Health Center, and completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. He holds a Diplomate from the National Board of Medicine, the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and the American Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
