Roy oversees all of the IT development work that is undertaken by Idea Group, ensuring that we utilise the most appropriate technology to deliver effective solutions to our clients.
For the last 20 years, Roy has been using IT to solve business problems for banking and finance companies. He has little interest in technology for its own sake and
always asks how a technology can help to model an aspect of a business and present a better way of doing things. In this time, he has designed, built and implemented systems using a range of technologies including PL/I, Pascal, PowerBuilder, Delphi and J2EE.
Roy has also spent time as a trainer having delivered graduate programmes in IT for a number of major banks and taught evening classes for the Chartered Institute of Bankers examinations.
