Ross Roesner is VP of Engineering at TraceVector since joining in January 2013. Previously, he served as VP of Engineering at Payfone Technology. Ross joined Payfone after Juniper Networks where he was General Manager and Vice President for the WAN Acceleration Business Unit. Ross was VP of Engineering at Redline Technologies which was acquired by
Juniper. Before Redline, he held VP of Engineering positions at Apptera, Talaris Corporation and International Network Services, which later was acquired by Lucent Technologies. He started his career as a programmer at Hewlett-Packard. Ross has over 25 years experience in building and delivering software and hardware products for the technology industry. He brings specialized expertise in growing emerging teams into high-growth organizations, meeting time-sensitive deadlines and managing multiple product lines.
Ross was born and raised in California. He has a passion for sports and went to Giants fantasy camp for many years where his nickname was E6 (error at shortstop for those who don’t follow baseball). He is a die-hard San Jose Sharks season ticket holder, the pain of not winning the Stanley Cup every year is drowned out in the bottom of an empty beer mug. He loves to hunt and fish and enjoys camping out in the wilderness. He also enjoys a good glass of wine and visits Napa Valley as often as his bank account allows him to.
