My name is Rosalia Gitau and I’m the CEO of Bixie.
Bixie is the financial home for women and their families. We provide an app that encourages wealth generation through knowledge, network, and tools.
Our approach is based on facts: women behave very differently than men when it comes to money and this is excluding us from access to finance-- a
market gap worth $5 trillion dollars. Bixie is here to close that gap.
We’ve leveraged our unique experience empowering women around the world for the past decade, and designed a UX tailored to the unique behaviours of women, bringing us on a journey that we recognize to empower us financially.
We launched in the Philippines in November 2021 and we’ve exceeded our acquisition forecast, with a low CAC and high month-on-month retention. We’ve 25 signed partnerships with female aggregators and FSPs, and been recognized as a leading Start-up in the Philippines and across APAC– and we’ve raised $560,000 to date.
