Magnolia River’s Executive Vice President, Ronnie Hoff, helped launch the firm with his wife, Kim, in August of 2000 and is currently a minority business owner. His career began in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he was a Staking Engineer for Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO). After relocating to Alabama, he joined Alabama Gas Company
(ALAGASCO) in engineering/project management. Mr. Hoff then accepted the position of Operations Manager for a new natural gas company, Wheeler Basin Natural Gas, in North Alabama, where he was promoted to General Manager, the position he held until leaving to start Magnolia River.
After nearly 25 years of experience in various aspects of the utilities industry, Mr. Hoff offers a wealth of knowledge in both electric and natural gas. He is currently responsible for development of the corporate vision, strategic planning, long-range business development, large-account contract negotiations, and operations oversight.
Mr. Hoff is a member of the Alabama Natural Gas Association (ANGA), Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA), Georgia Municipal Gas Association (GMA), Tennessee Gas Association (TGA), Mississippi Natural Gas Association (MNGA), American Gas Association (AGA), and the American Public Gas Association (APGA).
