Ron has 43 years of operational and management experience on drilling rigs starting in 1972 as a Leasehand and rising in responsibility to Rig Manager and subsequently to Field Superintendent with Precision Drilling and one of its predecessor companies. Prior to joining CWC, Ron held the position of Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating
Officer of Ironhand Drilling Inc. from 2006 to 2014. From 2005 to 2006, Ron worked as a Drilling Superintendent at Encana Corporation and subsequently as a Drilling Manager for NuVista Energy Ltd. Through his consulting company, Sutley Oilfield Enterprises, Ron was a Wellsite Supervisor from 2001 to 2005. Ron has worked on drilling rigs in both Canada and the United States as well as Libya.
