Ron has a rich and varied background in science, software and technology. Ron Lin was the co-founder and CTO of CARD.com. He received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UCLA and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.He has been passionately interested in early stage startups and new venture creation since
his first job experience as an intern in 1998 at the failed startup GovWorks.com. Ron has been involved at early stage venture creation as an employee and a founder, including security and cryptography startup Probaris, financial services startup CapitalIQ (sold to Standard and Poors), personal device customizer Etchstar, and alternative energy solutions provider WindyNation.
