Rolf Assev is partner in leading Nordic incubator/accelerator StartupLab and is based out of Oslo Norway. StartupLab has today 65 startups and invest early phase capital through Founders Fund.
Rolf is an independent investor and entrepreneur with focus on education and new technology. He is also a co-founder and chairman in WeWantToKnow - the company behind the award winning math game, DragonBox.
Rolf worked for 12 years in Opera Software as Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing, Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Strategy on an exciting journey building the company from 12 to 750 people with more than 200 million active users.
He started his post-secondary education at the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy, before receiving his Master of Science degree from the Norwegian School of Business Administration in 1988. Rolf's work experience includes the Norwegian Trade Council in Stockholm, the marketing department of the Lillehammer Olympic Organizing Committee, senior consultant for the Nordic PR agency Geelmuyden.Kiese and managing director for Spaceworld AS.
