Rohit Sarin is Director of the National Institute of TB and Respiratory Diseases, an autonomous institute functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Until March 2016 he was Chair of the WHO’s regional Green Light Committee for MDR-TB in the South-East Asia region (rGLC SEARO) and remains a member of the organization.
Dr. Sarin is one of the leading technical experts on TB in India today and has significantly contributed to effective TB prevention and control in the country.
